Create View Folder in Oxide

I believe Oxide just received an update yesterday and I now cannot see any way to create a new folder for holding views. The create view dialog goes straight to naming the view skipping the previous step for folder selection/creation. Help? Am I missing something stupid?

I believe everyones settings and theme was reset.

You can enable folders with this option. “Enable view folders”

Also remember to turn off auto deploy

Thank you, I had forgotten about this flag because we’ve had it enabled for so long.

Yep our settings have indeed been reset which is a bit annoying. I’ve added a bunch of custom panels on various apps which I now need to reconfigure.

Was this intentional and/or done for a good reason? I assume it cannot be reversed at this point?

I am just and enduser, not sure why this happened. Assuming it was a once-off incident.

I havent used this myself, however I think you can export and import your config:

Probably a good idea to create a back-up.

Hi @fthomas, unfortunately this was not intentional. We don’t know why the latest OXIDE release reset customizations. @david is correct in that you can export your customizations, but obviously it would be best if that wasn’t needed. We’ll investigate and hopefully be in a position to avoid this in future OXIDE releases
