We wish to store some private information like API keys in the JourneyApps DB for the mobile application to make API calls.

What options do we have to do encryption of these credentials ?

JourneyApps is secure by design, and your data is encrypted end-to-end. You can find more information about our security measures here.

I would also like to suggest using CloudCode for your integration needs, which would not require private keys to be stored in the database.
