Backup and restore failed


I just did a backup and restore from my old iPhone to my new iPhone, and when I tried to open the JourneyApp on my new iPhone it breaks.

I get a “Could not open database” error (screenshot below).

What did I do wrong

It is not possible to use a backup and restore process with a JourneyApps application. This is because the DB encryption keys are not backed up, for security purposes, and therefore upon restore the DB would no longer be accessible.

Our suggestion is to make sure all data is synced prior to completing a backup and restore process. You can then uninstall and reinstall the application after the restore process is complete.
