My app notified me that sync rules need to reprocess upon deploying, and I’d like to know how long that processing will take to minimize user disruption. What impacts the duration of sync rule reprocessing and can I find out this duration prior to deploying?

On the deployment’s data browser, see the “sync diagnostics” page. This indicates how many entries would need reprocessing. As an estimate, around 3-5m entries can be reprocessed per hour.

During this period, users may:
a. See sync errors.
b. Sync data as some combination of the old and new sync rules. -
Data will continue being uploaded from the app, and new changes will continue being synchronized.
