When do Sync Rules reprocess?


I know that sync rules reprocess after business hours, but what does after business hours mean?

This will depend on the environment’s region where you are reprocessing sync rules, which are outlined below:

US: 18:00 America/Los_Angeles
ZA: 18:00 Africa/Johannesburg
EU: 18:00 UTC
AU: 18:00 Australia/Perth


I have a couple of follow-up questions to these start times:

  1. If my app’s sync rule reprocessing takes upwards of 24 hours, will it pause or stop as the next day’s business hours start up again? If so, what are the full windows outside of business hours where sync rules reprocess?
  2. Do business hours also apply to weekends?


The business hours check has been removed - reprocessing can now be performed any time of day.

However, we still recommend deploying sync rules changes to apps with large amounts of data after hours, to minimise disruption for the app’s users during reprocessing.
